Words from our CEO

In 2015, the journey to build up DENSIQ Group was initiated. Growing from a smaller company to expand towards a bigger organization comes with many opportunities and also challenges. What do you consider will be the main goals for the future for the Group and what has been the strategy for 2023?
Our heritage is much older than that. The embryo of what today is DENSIQ Group began the journey already in 1918. Such a heritage must be handled with respect and developed carefully of course. In 2015 we realized that there were significant possibilities to grow our business outside Sweden, both organically but also through acquisitions. Since then we have acquired four different companies, not only in the northern region but also in mainland Europe, to become a true European supplier. This has strengthened us as a group, not only from a geographical reach but also by completing our portfolio within sealing technology. We will continue this route, to further strengthen our offer and expand our reach. Always with the goal to be the supplier of sealing technology with the highest perceived service level.

Sustainability is a topic that is constantly growing as one of the most important factors among companies today. In which way does DENSIQ Group work with sustainability for the long term but also short term goals?
Sustainability has been very high on our agenda for a long time. However, we must understand that sustainability is a very broad topic, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed – especially when you are a supplier of a small component in a large system which we very often are. With that said, for sure we can make a difference. It is important to understand that every effort counts. In the short term, we have done several activities to impact our footprint; LED lightning, change to electric cars, more digital meetings etc. Those are “low hanging fruit”. In the long run, I believe the change we can see in increased regional production on behalf of global supply chains is something to embrace. Why should we ship things all over the world when we can produce ourselves closer to the end-market? The short term higher cost is a very low investment in the long run if we take sustainability into consideration. From a personal perspective all kind of social initiatives are very close to me. Helping people in difficult situations is something we can all do more of.

As we all live today in a rapidly changing society it takes a lot of strategy and also agile work to keep up the speed within this. As we look into the future for 2025, what will be the main brand promise for DENSIQ Group for the future?
Finally, a question that is easy to answer! It has been and always will be our promise that when you turn to a company within DENSIQ Group you can be sure that the job will be done and the product will fulfil its need. Of course we also make mistakes, but we admit them and learn from them and take our responsibility if something goes wrong. That is something you can always count on!
